Charity - Why We Do It
Why do we do this?
As the founder of Assets to Cash, I decided in April of 2010 to set up a charity sponsorship through our organization. I was most recently asked "Why do we do this?" and "What's in it for us?". I was taken aback and somewhat confused. Was there a hidden agenda? The answer was simple...no. I tried to look for reasons that would be of huge benefit to the company. We normally bill $160/hour but are giving our time away. I wondered about tax incentives, but since we are not a non-profit organization, I'm not sure that will benefit us. Our goal is to get this program up and running so that we can support The Children's Hospital. Another goal is to employ those less fortunate, with little or no skill levels, providing them with job opportunties for tomorrow.

and other affiliated projects are based on putting employment back into America and rebuilding small business infrastructure. What a better place to start than with the children who are our future. I find myself questioning what got me started with this idea in the first place. The answer was simple again...the children...tomorrow's world. Everything we do today reflects on our own future. I'm proud to be a part of something that reflects on my own. May the universe bless tomorrow's children.
